Mounds View City Council February 25, 2008 <br />Regular Meeting Page 9 <br /> <br /> 1. Community Development Year in Review 1 <br /> 2 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson presented the Community Development Year in Review 3 <br />information for Council review. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson noted that Community Development came in at 95% of budget, 6 <br />saving $23,000. 7 <br /> 8 <br />Council Member Mueller asked if there is an update on the property on Long Lake Road. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that it is close to being in compliance, but there are some 11 <br />vehicles that are back now that do not belong. They did do a good job on cleaning up, but 12 <br />additional vehicles are coming. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that there have been a lot of questions on the Totino property 15 <br />and when it might open. 16 <br /> 17 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that they are on track for a March 17, 2008 opening. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Mayor Marty asked about Silver View Plaza, and asked them to clean it up and remodel it. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Interim Administrator Ericson indicated that the EDC is looking into exactly that. 22 <br /> 23 <br />C. Reports of City Attorney 24 <br /> 25 <br />Attorney Riggs indicated that he is still working on the Xcel matter, and he assumes that the 26 <br />urgency will increase once the snow has melted. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Mueller asked if there has been any further contact with Clear Channel. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Attorney Riggs indicated that he has not, but the plan was to come to a work session to discuss in 31 <br />March. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that she would like to see a written proposal before they 34 <br />come to Council. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Attorney Riggs indicated that he has relayed that information to Clear Channel and can do so 37 <br />again. 38 <br /> 39 <br />Council indicated that they are not interested in meeting with them on this in March. 40 <br /> 41 <br />12.
