All insurance required by this special outdoor event policy shall be issued by <br />insurance companies acceptable to the City and Minnesota. The Certificate of <br />Liability Insurance must specify: <br /> <br />Workers’ compensation insurance that meets the statutory <br />obligations with coverage B – employer’s liability limits of at least <br />$100,000.00 each accident, $500,000.00 each disease – policy limit and <br />$100,000.00 disease – each employee. <br />(1) Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) for bodily injury to any one <br />(1) person in any one occurrence and subject to the limit of one (1) <br />person, in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for <br />bodily injury to two (2) or more persons in any one (1) occurrence and in <br />the amount of ten thousand dollars ($10,000,00) for injury to or destruction <br />of property of others in any one (1) occurrence. <br />(2) Fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) for loss of means of support <br />of any one (1) person in any one (1) occurrence and, subject to the limit for <br />one (1) person, one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000.00) for loss of <br />means of support of two (2) or more persons in any one (1) occurrence. <br /> <br /> <br />11. Special Outdoor Event Permit must be approved by the Police Chief, Fire <br />Marshal and Clerk-Administrator prior to City Council approval. Applicant must <br />pass a fire inspection prior to any approval by the City Council. <br /> <br />12. Payment for the Special Outdoor Event Permit per the Mounds View Fee <br />Schedule. <br /> <br />13. Before issuance of a Special Outdoor Event Permit, the Clerk-Administrator or <br />designee must notify residents within a 500 feet radius of the event that the <br />City Council will consider the issuance of a Special Outdoor Event Permit. <br />This notice must be mailed at least 10 days prior to City Council consideration <br />of the permit. <br /> <br /> <br />Exceptions: The following are exempt from the requirements of the Special Outdoor <br />Event Permit: <br /> <br />a. City-Sponsored Events. <br /> <br />b. Private Parties: A Private Party is any party held on private property in <br />which members of the general public are not invited. <br /> <br />No individual or entity shall be issued more than two (2) such permits in a calendar <br />year, and all Special Outdoor Event Permits must be approved by the Mounds View City <br />Council. The Mounds View City Council meets every second and fourth Monday of <br />each month. <br />
