<br /> 3 <br />RESOLUTION 7318 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION 7318, AUTHORIZATION TO PURCHASE TWO PROJECTORS <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the Event Center needs two projectors available as rental units, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the audio quality of recordings of City meetings would improve with a <br />quieter projector in the Council Chamber, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has funds budgeted for Cable TV capital equipment (210-4350- <br />7030) and for Event Center capital equipment (252-4730-7030), <br /> <br />WHEREAS, staff has obtained quotes from DS Productions ($1893.44) and <br />PCConnection ($549.95), <br /> . <br />WHEREAS, staff recommends to Council that the City of Mounds View purchase <br />and contract DS Productions to supply and install a Canon X600 projector for the Council <br />Chamber and purchase from PCConnection a ViewSonic PJ551d projector for the Event <br />Center. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve a transfer in the amount of $549.95 from account #252-4730-3420 for the <br />cost of the ViewSonic PJ551d to account #252-4730-7030 and does hereby approve the <br />purchase. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mounds View City <br />Council does authorize staff to replace the current projector in City Council Chambers and <br />install the Canon X600. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 11th day of August 2008. <br /> <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br /> ____________________________________ <br /> Jim Ericson, City Administrator <br />(seal) <br />
