<br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7329 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />Resolution Authorizing Certification of the Proposed General Fund Budget and <br />Property Tax Levy for Fiscal Year 2009 <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, current state statute requires cities to certify a proposed budget and tax <br />levy to the county auditor; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, guidelines established by the Commissioner of Revenue require <br />certification to occur on or before September 15, 2008; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Revenue has certified the amount of Local <br />Government Aid payable in 2009. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Mounds <br />View that the proposed budget for the General Fund for fiscal year 2009 is $6,064,606. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed 2009 base property tax levy is <br />$3,210,748 and the proposed 2009 special levies are $588,645 for a total net property tax <br />levy of $3,799,393. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Finance Director shall certify these amounts <br />to the Ramsey County Auditor. <br /> <br /> Adopted this 8th Day of September 2008. <br /> <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br />(ATTEST) <br /> <br /> ______________________________ <br /> Jim Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />(SEAL)
