<br />RESOLUTION NO. 7324 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPROVING A PERMIT APPLICATION FOR THE NEW BRIGHTON/MOUNDS <br />VIEW ROTARY, A CHARITABLE ORGANIZATION TO CONDUCT <br />CHARITABLE GAMBLING (RAFFLE) ON APRIL 3, 2009 AT THE MERMAID <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary has requested that <br />the City Council allow them to conduct charitable gambling (raffle) at The <br />Mermaid on April 3, 2009; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Gambling Control Board requires that the local unit of <br />government (city or county) pass a resolution specifically approving or denying <br />requests to conduct charitable gambling; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary, is in compliance with <br />all requirements of the Mounds View Municipal Code with regard to charitable <br />gambling regulations; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary has requested a one- <br />day charitable gambling permit. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby authorize New Brighton/Mounds View Rotary, to conduct <br />charitable gambling at The Mermaid, located at 2200 County Road 10 in Mounds <br />View, on April 3, 2009. <br /> <br />Adopted this 22nd day of September, 2008. <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />_______________________________ <br />James Ericson, Clerk-Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
