I learned for Cora that the bill is being supported by the Attorney General's <br /> office. I plan to attend the Committee hearing tomorrow. I will also be alerting <br /> members of the Cable Commission to the hearing tomorrow. I will keep you posted. <br /> Everest <br /> I have been approached by representatives of Everest with a request to release their <br /> Letter of Credit for Business Park South. While they suggest that they have built out _ <br /> the Park as promised and have maintained the assessed values as agreed upon, our <br /> records may not substantiate this claim. Paul is checking with the County. I plan to <br /> meet with the Finance representative from Everest on Tuesday to discuss the matter <br /> and make a recommendation to the Council at the April 4th Work Session. <br /> ****** <br /> April 4th Work Session <br /> The meeting with Jim Casserly regarding the most recent Everest proposal for <br /> completion of the Business Park North will be at 5:30 p.m. on April 4th with the <br /> regular Work Session. <br /> Samantha <br /> PERSONNEL <br /> The applications for the Golf Course Superintendent and the Public Works <br /> Maintenance Worker have been pouring in. We have received about 90 applications <br /> for the Public Works position, the deadline is 3/28, and about 20 applications for the <br /> Golf Course position, the deadline is 4/11. I will keep you posted as to the status of <br /> the interview process. <br /> Tim C. <br /> PARKS <br /> Playground Safety Inspections <br /> Playground equipment inspections were performed this week. This has <br /> been a lucky winter because there has been no equipment vandalism to <br /> date. The graffiti has also been tackled this week, with success to the <br />
