Based upon that <br /> evaluation and Council direction, staff is proposing that this position <br /> become a Code Enforcement Officer/Planning Associate position. <br /> The primary responsibility of this position would be to enforce City <br /> ordinances, but also to assist the Community Development Coordinator with <br /> daily Planning functions. • <br /> The proposed 5 Step pay plan for this position would be: <br /> STEP 1 STEP 2. STEP 3 STEP 4 STEP 5 <br /> • <br /> $24960/yr. $26520/yr. $28080/yr. $29640/yr. $31200/yr. <br /> Funding for this position would come from the existing Code Enforcement <br /> Officer/Recycling Coordinator's budget and $10, 000 from a transfer from the <br /> Franchise Fee Contingency Account. <br /> If Council approves this position, it is proposed that an advertisement be <br /> placed in Sunday's (5/1) paper.
