Polluted lands proposals/legislation <br /> 1 . Require County Board, approval or }codification of TIF <br /> plans ; <br /> 2 . Require an extension of the County' s review period from <br /> 30 to 60 days ; <br /> 3 . Develop a county-wide economic development plan that <br /> focuses on clean-up and development/redevelopment of <br /> polluted lands; (such plan should be part of a <br /> comprehensive regional plan to deal with the clean-up <br /> of polluted sites) ; <br /> 4 . Prioritize the sites that are to be cleaned up; <br /> 5 . Require changes in the law that would -limit the costs <br /> associated with pre-cleanup, including litigation <br /> costs; <br /> 6 . Require state funds/grants to finance clean-up of <br /> polluted lands; and <br /> B . All other TIF' proposals <br /> 1. Require County Board approval or modification of TIF <br /> plans ; <br /> 2 . Require a 60-day review period for the county to review <br /> TIF proposals ; <br /> 3 . Require the ability to create a county-wide economic <br /> development plan which would be part of a regional <br /> economic development plan; <br /> 4 . Require retention of the current limits on pooling; and <br /> 5 .
