HIS IS <br /> IT . . . . <br /> For the Week of May 30 - June 3, 1994 <br /> ADMINISTRATION <br /> Economic Development & Marketing Budget: <br /> This week was consumed by budget work for the long term financial plan and 1995 <br /> budget. It has been an experience, but an effective way to plan for the future. <br /> Retention Efforts: <br /> • I talked to Kenneth Churchill, Churchill Truck Lines, regarding their space on <br /> Mustang Drive this week. Apparently they have already sold the entire 8 acres <br /> to another trucking company based out of Iowa called Krause Cartage <br /> Company. I will contact the president of the company to welcome them to <br /> Mounds View. <br /> • In addition, I will be meeting with Michael Mulrooney of Advance Resources for <br /> Development and DIED to discuss the application procedures for an Economic <br /> Development Grant. The grant is expected to be used to assist Wolf & <br /> Associate's expansion and to begin a revolving loan fund. Mr. John Purves of <br /> Wolf & Associates will be making a presentation regarding the company at the <br /> EDA work session. <br /> Economic Development Commission: <br /> Ideas for commission members are being reviewed. I met with Delane Welsch of <br /> Mounds View who is a professor of agricultural economics at the University of <br />
