Site identification: City staff and County staff will identify <br /> all possible sites within the following boundaries: <br /> North: County Road J (County line) <br /> West: Pleasantview Drive (County line) <br /> South: In New Brighton - 1-694 <br /> In Arden Hills - Highway 96 <br /> East: Lexington Avenue <br /> C. Availability of the site will be determined and the approximate <br /> cost identified <br /> C. Siting criteria will be listed <br /> D. Siting criteria will be applied to each site <br /> E. A report will be prepared by the County and delivered to the <br /> City staff <br /> F. The report will be presented to the City Council with a list of <br /> options for them to consider. The options will include, at a <br /> minimum: <br /> • Moving the site (this action may require County Board action <br /> as well, depending on cost considerations <br /> • Leaving the site in Ardan Park <br /> • Leaving the site in Ardan Park but making changes to <br /> accomodate the site and park uses <br /> • Closing the site <br /> 2 . Ardan Park Site issues <br /> A. Short term (During the site search - it is assumed that even if <br /> a new site is selected that the Ardan Park site would operate <br /> all of 1994 ) <br /> 1. Site maintenance <br /> a. The County will remove about half of the composting <br /> material on-site in order to gain room for grading and <br /> filling potholes . - <br /> b. If dust is determined to the a problem the County will <br /> ask the City to use mitigative measures, and the City <br /> will be reimbursed for that expense. <br />
