kids graduating. The three of us worked the all-night party at the <br /> Mermaid on Monday night. <br /> 2. Last night, The Irondale Baseball team won the Region Four <br /> Tournament. They will be playing in the State Tournament next week. <br /> Robb Ramacher and Joe Quick are members of the team. <br /> 3. Officer Dave Anderson gets married on Friday. Congratulations to <br /> Dave and Colleen. <br /> Tim R. <br /> PUBLIC WORKS <br /> * Cracksealing throughout the city has been in full swing this past week with all <br /> departments assisting. <br /> * Tuckpointing of the well houses is to begin this week. Five well houses are to be given a <br /> new face lift. <br /> * On Monday the Public Works Department crew provided tours, of the water treatment <br /> plant and the maintenance garage, to approximately 130 elementary school students. <br /> After the tours, the children were given cookies and juice. <br /> * THANK YOU to everyone for your help and cooperation in getting the buildings and <br /> equipment cleaned and polished for the tours. <br /> * Bill Hanson and Bill Hanggi installed a flush out system in the Reclaim Tank at the <br /> Water Treatment Plant #1. The installation of this system will reduce the amount of time <br /> spent cleaning the recovery tank. <br /> * Wally Mortenson and Larry Decheine went to North St.Paul on Tuesday with the camera <br /> to televise the sewers.
