REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION Agenda Section: 3. <br /> STAFF REPORT Report Number: 9'1-59CWS <br /> 1117S <br /> ° AGENDA SESSION DATE June 7, 1993 Report Date: 6-3-93 <br /> DISPOSITION <br /> Item Description: Discussion Regarding Regional Senior Center <br /> Administrator's Review/Recommendation: <br /> - No comments to supplement this report <br /> - Comments attached. <br /> Explanation/Summary (attach supplement sheets as necessary.) <br /> SUMMARY; <br /> The deadline for approval/disapproval of the resolution regarding support <br /> of the proposed Regional Senior Center is June 15th. The Council should <br /> consider the resolution at the June 14th meeting. <br /> At the time of the Information Meeting on the Center, several issues were <br /> raised by residents in regards to the site, construction and engineering <br /> costs, salaries, contract personnel and "soft costs" . While some of these <br /> issues cannot be resolved because the Task Force is still discussing them, <br /> the issues can be included in the body of the resolution as areas of <br /> concern to be resolved. <br /> A draft resolution is attached, which can be used only as a starting point <br /> for discussion on Monday night.
