It is anticipated that the level of service provided by <br /> the City Council, as it relates to being a division of the Admin- <br /> istration section of this report, will not be changed and any <br /> increased impact on the City's budget will only result from infla- <br /> tionary factors, compensation increases, or increases in fees, <br /> dues, or other expenses contained within the City Council <br /> budget. <br /> In March of 1993, the City Council and Staff conducted a <br /> Strategic Planning Session. The 1991 Goals and Objectives <br /> which were created developed at the 1991 Goalsetting Session <br /> were re-evaluated and updated. The result is the following <br /> revised 5 year goal program for the City of Mounds View <br /> (included herein <br /> as Attachment A.) <br /> The City's 1993/94 FOCUS 2000 project will be completed in <br /> 1994 and it is anticipated that the Council will develop an <br /> implementation Program that will reflect the results of the <br /> FOCUS 2000 recommendations and form the basis for the <br /> City's future programs, services plans, goals and objectives. <br /> 2. ADVISORY COMMISSIONS -The City's active advisory commis <br /> sions include the Planning Commission, the Civil Service <br /> Commission, the Environmental Quality Commission, the <br /> the Cable Committee and the <br /> Parks and Recreation Commission. In addition, the City has <br /> two active Task Forces, the Golf Course Task Force and the <br /> Senior Center Task Force. The Commissions and Task Forces <br /> serve as advisory bodies to the City Council and, when fun^ <br /> the current City Charter to update the Charter to meet the <br /> 3 <br />
