Explanation/Summary (attach supplement s -ets as .• essary.) $UMMABY; Recently, City Staff has been contacted by residents in the Bronson Drive, Erickson Road area regarding drainage out of and into the Outlot shown on the attached City map. Their concerns were that a City owned and maintained storm sewer servicing the Outlot was not functioning properly due to debris clogging the outlet. The result of the pipe not functioning properly is that the Outlot's water level has reached an unmanageable level and, in some cases, has caused flooding of adjoining property. In response to these concerns, staff contacted Ramsey County about clearing some of the debris that is contributing to the problem. Ramsey County informed staff that the property was owned by the State of Minnesota via tax-forfeiture and that the City could obtain a use easement to perform the • maintenance required for a nominal filing charge. Those charges are as follows: Recording fee $ 17. 00 Ag/con stamp $ 5. 00 Deed Tax stamp $ 1. 65 TOTAL $ 23 . 65 This parcel is a City delineated wetland and is a part of the City's Surface Water Management Plan. The anticipated maintenance on the storm pipe will not entirely drain the site; Rather, it will allow a certain amount of water to leave the site following sedimentation.
