• <br /> Mounds View City Council Page <br /> Regular Meeting November 9, 19 <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Rickaby to Approve Minutes of the <br /> October 26, 1992 Council Meeting <br /> VOTE: 3 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> Councilmember Wuori abstained from the vote as she was not <br /> present at the October 26,. 1992 meeting. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Rickaby/Blanchard to Approve Minutes of the <br /> November 4, 1992, Special Election Canvassing Meeting <br /> VOTE: 4 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS: <br /> a. Mayor Linke made note of the fact that Cub Scout Pack 167, Den 2, <br /> was in attendance at the meeting. Mr. Debalak is the Cub Scout <br /> Leader for this Pack. The Scouts attended the meeting as part <br /> of the requirements to earn their citizenship badge. <br /> b. Mayor Linke announced that November 13 - 20 was Minnesota Chemical <br /> Health Week. The City was given red ribbons that are put out by the • <br /> Mothers Against Drunk Drivers to be put on vehicles as a reminder of <br /> the seriousness of driving while intoxicated. These ribbons will be <br /> put in the reception area of City Hall for residents to take. <br /> RESIDENTS REQUESTS AND COMMENTS FROM THE FLOOR: <br /> There were no resident requests or comments. <br /> PUBLIC HEARINGS: <br /> a. Public Hearing - Scheduled for 7:05 p.m. - To consider a Tax <br /> for Delinquent Utility Bills, Tree Removal and Miscellaneous <br /> Charges Over a One Year Period <br /> Mayor Linke called the public hearing to order at 7:05 p.m. <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reviewed Staff Report No. <br /> 92-410C. Orduno stated that this public hearing was set to <br /> consider certification of delinquent utility bills, tree removal and <br /> miscellaneous charges to Ramsey County for collection with 1993 <br /> property taxes. Letters were sent to those customers advising them of <br /> the hearing. Resolution No. 4300 Levying a Tax for Delinquent Utility <br /> Bills, Tree Removal, and Miscellaneous Charges Over a One Year Period <br /> was presented for Council's consideration. <br /> Orduno further stated that Andrew Kociscak, Laport and Red Oak Drive <br /> appears on the resolution as owing miscellaneous charges. Mr. Kocisc� <br /> paid this account in full earlier today. <br />
