The median household income in this area is <br />$40,739, which is $3,022 higher than Mounds View. Mounds <br />View ranks 126th out of the 192 cities and townships in <br />household income. <br />Five of the seven cities (for which 50 percent or more of their <br />land area falls) in the Primary Market (3 miles) report <br />household incomes lower than the metro area average, the <br />exceptions being Arden Hills and Shoreview. Ten of the 18 <br />communities which fall in whole or in part within a six -mile <br />radius of the proposed golf facility report household incomes <br />higher than the metro average. <br />The proposed golf facilities are not designed nor intended to <br />address the high -end, upscale sector of the golf market, and <br />EGCS feels that the nature of the golf facility is well - <br />positioned, given the economic status of residents in the <br />market area. <br />10 <br />
