Mayor Linke announced that there would be an Association of <br /> Metropolitan Municipalities Legislative Reception at the Kelly <br /> Inn at 4: 30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 10. All Councilmembers <br /> are welcome. <br /> c. Mayor Linke announced that there would be a Ramsey County League <br /> of Local Government on Wednesday, February 17, 1993 , at 7 : 30 p.m. <br /> in Little Canada. This is the monthly meeting and the subject is <br /> Tax Increment Financing. Once again Mayor Linke stated that all <br /> Councilmembers are welcome. • <br /> Report of Administrator: <br /> Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, announced that Saturday, February 27 is <br /> the City's Appreciation Night. This is really a fun time and it gives <br /> everyone a chance to show appreciation and recognition to the boards, <br /> commissions, committees, staff and Council of the City. <br /> Report of Staff: <br /> Tim Cruikshank, Assistant to the City Administrator, reviewed Resolution No. <br /> 4346 to Hire Larry O'Donnell as a regular part-time Custodian. Cruikshank <br /> stated that the 1993 budget provided for the hiring of a regular part-time <br /> Custodian for City Hall. Don Brager, the Finance Director-Treasurer and Tim <br /> interviewed four eligible candidates for the position and, of the four, <br /> Larry O'Donnell was determined to be the most qualified and best suited for <br /> the position. If Mr. O'Donnell's employment with the City of Mounds View is <br /> approved, he will begin employment on Tuesday, February 16 and begin at <br /> $5.50 per hour and will work approximately 15 hours per week. Cruikshank <br /> stated that this position receives no benefits from the City. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Wuori/Blanchard to Adopt Resolution No. 4346 Appointing <br /> Larry O'Donnell as a Regular Part-Time Custodian <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br />
