The joint utilization of parking facilities and <br /> other essential services shall be promoted by the <br /> City in applicable situations. <br /> Goal 7 : Industrial development shall be considered an integral use <br /> in providing the City with a broad tax and employment base upon <br /> which to draw. <br /> Policies: a. Continue eplore opportunities for the expansion <br /> of theitys bas <br /> b. Cooperate with and, direct industrial developer's to <br /> insure that industrial development is viewed as an <br /> asset to the City and not a liability. <br /> c . Encourage those industrial developments which are <br /> complimentary to existing uses within the City. <br /> d. When appropriate, use all available sources of <br /> fiscal incentives to attract quality industrial <br /> development to Mounds View. <br /> Goal 8: Ensure that industrial uses are located in areas which are <br /> compatible with surrounding uses and essential services are <br /> provided for adequately. <br /> Policies: a. Be aware of the size and scope of essential services <br /> needed to service industrial uses . <br /> b. Where feasible, industrial parks shall be developed <br /> in order to minimize impact to other areas of the <br /> City. <br /> c.
