Blasberg <br /> Property Located At: 8106 Groveland Road, Mounds View <br /> Dear Mr. Linke, Mayor and Mr. Thompson, City Attorney: <br /> Please be advised that I represent Mr. Daryl D. Blasberg who resides at <br /> 8106 Groveland Road, Mounds View, Minnesota. <br /> In 1986 the City of Mounds View vacated their sewer easement that our <br /> client ' s house was erected upon. Please see the attached copy of <br /> Resolution No. 2092 . <br /> Please note that this Resolution No. 2092 vacates the easement indicated <br /> in Document No. 472482 . I am enclosing herewith a copy of that Document <br /> No. 472482 . <br /> Now, it appears that the City of Mounds View also obtained an easement <br /> from the mortgage company Minneapolis Federal Savings and Loan Association <br />- b-ack--on- December 20----i963.- --Th-at easement was not -vacated- under Resolution <br /> No. 2092 . <br /> Therefore, the easement indicated in Document No. 472481 obtained by the <br /> City from Minneapolis Federal Savings and Loan Association, a copy of said <br /> easement is attached hereto, still is outstanding and still is a potential <br /> encumbrance on the property. <br /> Therefore, Title Works, Inc. will not provide a new purchaser and that <br /> purchaser ' s mortgage company with title insurance. <br /> Thus, the easement that the City has obtained from the mortgage company as <br /> indicated in Document No. 472481 should also be vacated. <br /> Please note that the legal description to the easement is identical in <br /> both Document No. 472481 and Document No. 472482 . <br /> I have drafted a Proposed Resolution that vacates Document No. 472481 and <br /> I am forwarding to Mayor Linke the original and one copy and I am <br /> f:+:W;X5A ,gedcopy to Mr. Thompson. <br />
