RESOLUTION 7361 <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />AUTHORIZING ANALYSIS OF THE <br />ARDAN AVENUE DRAINAGE SUBDISTRICT <br />WHEREAS, a drainage study of the Ardan Avenue area was <br />performed in the “Ardan Avenue Drainage Subdistrict” study dated Mar. 30, 1989 <br />(1989 Study); and <br />WHEREAS, the 1989 Study proposed new trunk storm sewers <br />along both Ardan Avenue and Sherwood Road, as well as creation of a new <br />regional storm water detention pond; and <br />WHEREAS, the improvements proposed by the 1989 Study would <br />impact the area of the 2009-2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project; and <br />WHEREAS, for several reasons the City of Mounds View has <br />interest in investigating whether there is an acceptable alternative to the <br />improvements proposed by the 1989 Study; and <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo is the consulting engineer for the City on <br />both the 2009-2010 Street and Utility Improvement Project and the Local Surface <br />Water Management Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, Bonestroo has reviewed the 1989 Study and has <br />developed a written scope of work for an alternative analysis; and <br />WHEREAS, the aspects of the proposed scope of work are <br />acceptable. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Mounds View, Ramsey County, Minnesota as follows: <br />1.Authorization is hereby given to perform analysis of the <br />Ardan Avenue Drainage Subdistrict. <br />2.The services of Bonestroo shall be retained for the purpose <br />of performing said analysis. <br />3.The scope of work proposed is hereby approved in the form <br />of the letter agreement prepared by Bonestroo dated <br />November 20, 2008.
