<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 7355 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE 2009 SCORE RECYCLING GRANT <br />REQUEST TO RAMSEY COUNTY <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, Ramsey County is accepting applications for use of SCORE funds to <br />improve recycling participation by the public; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Mounds View is eligible to apply for a grant to provide <br />administrative and promotional activities intended to improve recycling participation <br />among city residents through education, awareness, and incentives; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Mounds View has determined that this <br />is an appropriate use of city resources and that increasing recycling participation <br />benefits the public health, safety, and welfare of the community as a whole. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View approves the attached application for 2009 SCORE funding and <br />authorizes acceptance of any allocated funding. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 24th day of November 2008 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> <br /> Jim Ericson, City Administrator <br /> <br /> <br />(SEAL)
