Quarterly Report for Finance Department 2 <br /> 3 <br />Finance Director Beer provided an overview of the quarterly report for the Finance Department. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mayor Marty noted that the Finance Department has received an award from MCFOA in 6 <br />recognition of the excellent job being done by the City of Mounds View Finance Department. 7 <br /> 8 <br />C. Reports of City Attorney 9 <br /> 10 <br />Mayor Marty asked about the situation with Jay Brothers in regard to the trail way project, and 11 <br />who the City should pay. 12 <br /> 13 <br />City Engineer, Joe Rhein, explained that the City can turn down any bidder that is not responsible 14 <br />as in the case with Jay Brothers since the City is having issues with them. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Mueller asked for an update on the Xcel Energy easement situation. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson indicated that they have agreed to the City’s terms for the easement 19 <br />agreement and they will need to submit the compensation and easement documentation prior to 20 <br />commencing work. 21 <br /> 22 <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether the City has a standardized easement amount that the 23 <br />City would pay to a property owner if an easement is requested. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council Member Mueller asked that staff post the utility information from the quarterly report on 26 <br />the website. 27 <br /> 28 <br />12.
