To Approve the November 3, 2008, Executive Session 9 <br />Minutes as Amended. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson noted that there was a closed hearing and Council went into the 12 <br />closed session to discuss labor negotiations. 13 <br /> 14 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 15 <br /> 16 <br />11. REPORTS 17 <br /> 18 <br />A. Reports of Mayor and Council 19 <br /> 20 <br />Council Member Mueller indicated that there are two residents that have had serious injuries, and 21 <br />there is a spaghetti fundraiser at Abiding Savior for Pastor Geddi There is also a student that was 22 <br />injured in an accident, and there is a Caring Bridge website to view on progress. Any donations 23 <br />to her medical expenses would be greatly appreciated and accepted at Irondale High School. 24 <br /> 25 <br />B. Reports of Staff 26 <br /> 27 <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson noted that 283 surveys have been received as part of the branding 28 <br />process that is underway. 29 <br /> 30 <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson noted that there was not a lot of participation in the fall clean up day 31 <br />and staff is looking at whether it is cost effective to have both spring and fall clean up days. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson noted that there are openings on the City’s Commissions and 34 <br />Committees and applications are being accepted until December 1, 2008. 35 <br /> 36 <br />Council Member Mueller asked whether there is an update on the Xcel Energy situation. 37 <br /> 38 <br />Clerk Administrator Ericson noted that there is no update as of yet. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Joe Rhein indicated that Ramsey County is okay with the traffic signal request of the City, but 41 <br />requires a study and the cost estimate for the study is approximately $3,000. 42 <br /> 43 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he did not have enough information. 44 <br /> 45
