December 22, 2008 Item No. 11B 1 <br />Page 2 <br />The most noteworthy items to come from the meeting include the following: <br />- Preliminary design of the improvements is scheduled to be complete by <br />the end of 2009 <br />- Construction is anticipated to begin in 2011 and extend into 2012 <br />- Discussion of potential changes to the interchange / access to I-35W at <br />County Road I due to safety concerns <br />As noted in the Bonestroo meeting notes, the representatives from the City of Shoreview <br />indicated that any reduction in access to I-35W at County Road I would be unacceptable. <br />The Mounds View City Council may also wish to provide an initial “unofficial” reaction to <br />the issue of potential access reduction or closure at County Road I, which Staff could <br />express at the next PMT meeting. <br />The next PMT meeting was not specifically scheduled, although the intent is to meet in <br />January 2009. <br />Respectfully submitted, <br />Joseph R.
