<br />2016 Priorities Update Report <br />Nov 7, 2016 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br />ADMINISTRATION (Continued) <br /> <br /> <br />Pursue the naming of County Road 10 <br /> <br /> <br />• After meeting with MnDOT and County staff, the City was told signage on the <br />35W corridor could be replaced at no cost to the City. <br />• First reading of Ordinance 918 occurred on May 23. Second reading scheduled <br />for June 13. <br />• The ordinance renaming County Road 10 to Mounds View Boulevard was <br />approved on June 13 and became effective on July 25. <br />• Property owners on County 10 were notified of the change, as were all <br />dispatch and emergency services. <br />• Staff reached out to mapping and GPS companies to inform them of the <br />change. <br />• Ramsey County engaged Anoka County to fabricate and install the new <br />“Mounds View Blvd” signage along the corridor, which should be <br />completed in November. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Ensure Mounds View’s interests are protected and promoted relating to the Rice Creek <br />Commons redevelopment <br /> <br />• Staff has been attending all project management team meetings hosted by the <br />County and its consultants. <br />• Alert businesses and residents regarding construction activity, road closures and <br />detours. <br />• Attend meetings with the County and MnDOT regarding impacts to certain <br />properties within the Mounds View Manufactured Home Park due to construction <br />of a sound wall. <br />• Staff continues to attend project management meetings regarding the <br />intersection work at County H and Mounds View Blvd as well as the 35W <br />and County H interchange. <br />• Ramsey County estimates the bridge will reopen by December 1st along <br />with all legs of the County 10 / County H intersection. <br /> <br /> <br />
