To Approve the Monday, April 28, 2014, agenda as 23 <br />presented. 24 <br /> 25 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 26 <br /> 27 <br />5. PUBLIC INPUT 28 <br /> 29 <br />Cam Obert, 8315 Greenwood Drive, expressed concern with the City’s inability to reign in 30 <br />nuisance code violations. He questioned why garbage cans were allowed to be placed in front of 31 <br />homes in Mounds View. He believed that garbage cans should not be visible from the street. He 32 <br />encouraged the City to assist with these matters as home values were being impacted. He did not 33 <br />approve of commercial or recreational vehicles/trailers being parked in driveways and yards. He 34 <br />recommended the City improve its code enforcement efforts as it would enhance the entire 35 <br />community. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Mayor Flaherty thanked Mr. Obert for his comments. He reported the City has improved its code 38 <br />enforcement efforts over the past three or four years.
