Resolution 8712, Approving the Purchase of Two (2) Service Pickup Trucks. 2 <br /> 3 <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council approve the purchase of two service 4 <br />pickup trucks. He reported these vehicles would be used by the street and water department. He 5 <br />explained he was looking to purchase two F-150 trucks through the State contract. He discussed 6 <br />the equipment that would be placed on each of the vehicles and recommended approval of the 7 <br />request. It was noted the trucks being replaced would be put on auction. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8712, 10 <br />Approving the Purchase of Two (2) Service Pickup Trucks. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Mayor Mueller asked if both of the trucks were super cabs. Public Works Supervisor Peterson 13 <br />reported this was the case. 14 <br /> 15 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 16 <br /> 17 <br />J. Resolution 8713, Approving the Purchase of a Used Utility Cart. 18 <br /> 19 <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council approve the purchase of a used utility 20 <br />cart. He reported the utility cart would be used to assist with seasonal maintenance. Staff 21 <br />recommended approval of the utility cart purchase. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Mayor Mueller questioned how the utility cart differed from a golf cart. Public Works 24 <br />Supervisor Peterson reviewed a photograph of the cart and discussed the differences between the 25 <br />two vehicles. 26 <br /> 27 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Hull/Gunn. (doing 35 <br />business as ABC Liquor) to AB Liquor, LLC. 36 <br />B. Resolution 8714, a Resolution Approving a Supplement to Joint Powers 37 <br />Agreement for Provision of Fire Services with the Cities of Spring Lake Park 38 <br />and Blaine. 39 <br /> 40 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause.
