Mounds View City Council March 13, 2017 <br />Regular Meeting Page 5 <br /> <br />Council approve the budget adjustment for the MVCC. 1 <br /> 2 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Hull. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8733, 3 <br />Authorizing a Budget Adjustment for the MVCC Building Alterations. 4 <br /> 5 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 6 <br /> 7 <br />G. Resolution 8734, Accepting Credit Proposal and Authorizing Final Payment 8 <br />on the Energy Savings Partnership with Trane. 9 <br /> 10 <br />Public Works Supervisor Peterson requested the Council accept the credit proposal and authorize 11 <br />final payment on the energy savings partnership with Trane. He stated in 2015 the City entered a 12 <br />partnership with Trane. He explained Trane was unable to complete their contract with the City 13 <br />in a timely manner and was offering the City a $12,965 credit. Staff recommended the Council 14 <br />accept the credit and authorize final payment to Trane. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked how the solar panels were working on the Community 17 <br />Center and City Hall. Public Works Supervisor Peterson stated he would be reviewing the 18 <br />energy consumption information in detail in the coming weeks and would report back to the City 19 <br />Council. 20 <br /> 21 <br />Mayor Mueller thanked Public Works Supervisor Peterson for having a difficult conversation 22 <br />with Trane about this situation. She appreciated his efforts and the cost savings that were being 23 <br />offered by Trane. Public Works Supervisor Peterson reported Public Works Director Erickson 24 <br />was instrumental throughout the process. 25 <br /> 26 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Hull. Resolution 8725, Renewing an Agreement with the Housing Resource Center 37 <br />(HRC) for 2017. 38 <br />B. Resolution 8726, Approving an Agreement with the City of New Brighton for 39 <br />Housing Inspection Services. 40 <br />C. Resolution 8728, Approving an Agreement with Simple Recycling for free 41 <br />Curbside Pickup of Clothing and Household Goods. 42 <br /> 43 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause.
