<br /> <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 8746 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CITY’S POLICY IN <br />SUPPORT OF ARTISTIC ORGANIZATIONS <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, in 2003, the City Council adopted the Policy for the Support of Artistic <br />Organizations (the “Policy”), consistent with MN Statutes 471.941; and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, subsequent to Policy adoption, the City has supported the Mounds <br />View Community Theatre (MVCT) by permitting the organization’s use of the City’s copy <br />machine, without incident or inconvenience; and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, in recognition of the years of ongoing support to MVCT, the City <br />Council has determined that an amendment to the City’s Policy to permit administrative <br />approvals under certain conditions. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council does <br />hereby approve an amendment to the Policy for the Support of Artistic Organizations by <br />adding the following language: <br /> <br /> 2.3 The City Council may delegate to the City Administrator the <br />ability to administratively re-approve such requests which had <br />been previously approved by City Council resolution. <br /> <br /> <br />Adopted this 10th day of April, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br /> _______________________________ <br /> Carol A.
