With the additional effort added to BMI’s <br />original contract of $315,400, the contract total would be $384,225. This equates to slightly more 9% of <br />the construction contract cost, which is similar to the original estimate as noted above. Sufficient funding <br />is available in the Street Improvement budget (485-4470-7050) to cover this additional cost. <br /> <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends that City Council approve attached resolution regarding additional funding in the <br />amount of $53,825 for BMI’s professional services related to Area I.
