Resolution 8781 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the current Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement <br />requires that all permanent job vacancies are posted internally for five (5) working <br />days so current members of the bargaining unit can be considered for the vacancy <br />before it gets advertised to the general public; and <br /> WHEREAS, only after the vacancy is posted for five (5) working days and no <br />responses or qualified candidates are received will the vacancy be posted; and <br />WHEREAS, Staff will revise the Public Works Collective Bargaining Agreement <br />to reflect the Facilities Maintenance/Building Custodian position with the above- <br />referenced pay plan. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby authorize Staff to advertise for the Facilities Maintenance/Building <br />Custodian position in the Public Works Department. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve the HAY points and salary compensation study for this <br />position as stated in this Resolution. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 26th day of June, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br /> ________________________________ <br /> Carol A.
