<br />RESOLUTION NO. 8793 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />RESOLUTION APPOINTING PUBLIC WORKS SUPERVISOR DON PETERSON AS <br />INTERIM PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Director Brian Erickson has resigned from his position <br />effective July 14, 2017; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Public Works Director Brian Erickson’s last day of employment is <br />July 14, 2017; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that the City Council appoint Public Works <br />Supervisor Don Peterson to serve as the Interim Public Works Director, effective July <br />14, 2017, until the City Council fills the vacancy; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Staff is recommending that the City Council compensate Public <br />Works Supervisor Don Peterson at his normal rate of pay plus an additional 10% per <br />Resolution 5626. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mounds View City Council <br />does hereby appoint Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson to serve as Interim Public <br />Works Director. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that for this interim period, <br />Public Works Supervisor Don Peterson will be compensated at his normal rate of pay <br />plus an additional 10% per Resolution 5626. <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 10th day of July, 2017. <br /> <br /> <br />_______________________________ <br />Carol A.
