Approval of Minutes: June 11, 2018. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller requested a change to the minutes on Page 2, Line 36 noting the line should read: <br />He discussed a grant the Police Department was applying for. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller requested a change to the minutes on Page 9, Line 29 stating the gender was <br />incorrect, he should be changed to she. <br /> <br />Mayor Mueller requested a change to the minutes on Page 9, Line 40 noting the story time was <br />completed every other week throughout the summer. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Meehlhause. To Approve the Amended Minutes from June 11, <br />2018. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Just and Correct Claims. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn requested further information regarding the new badges expense. Acting <br />City Administrator Beer reported this was for new Police badges. <br /> <br />Council Member Gunn commented on the expense the City paid for its waste water. Acting City <br />Administrator Beer indicated the Met Council had increased their rates to the City. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Approve Just and Correct Claims. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />C. Resolution 8980, Adopting and Reporting Performance Measures. <br /> <br />Council Member Bergeron commented on the performance measures and encouraged staff to <br />post this document on the City’s website. He explained he was proud of the fact property values <br />in Mounds View had risen 6.7% over the last year. He stated he believed this was due to the fact <br />people wanted to live in this community. He thanked staff for their great work on this report. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Bergeron/Gunn. Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution 8980, <br />Adopting and Reporting Performance Measures. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause reported the City has invested over $25 million in its streets over <br />the past 10 years and noted this has had a positive impact on property values in Mounds View. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried.
