SPECIAL ORDER OF BUSINESS <br /> <br />None. <br /> <br />8. COUNCIL BUSINESS <br />A. Second Reading and Summary Publication of Ordinance 944, <br />Amending/Updating Chapter 200 of the Municipal Code, Sections 202 and <br />203 – Roll Call Vote <br /> <br />Acting City Administrator Beer requested the Council adopt Ordinance 944 which would amend <br />and update Chapter 200 of the Municipal Code, Sections 202 and 203. He explained staff has <br />been working diligently to update City Code. He highlighted the proposed changes and <br />recommended approval of the Ordinance. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Gunn/Meehlhause. To Waive the Second Reading and Adopt Ordinance <br />944, Amending/Updating Chapter 200 of the Municipal Code, Sections 202 and 203. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause thanked City Administrator Zikmund for his efforts to update the <br />Mounds View Municipal Code. <br /> <br />ROLL CALL: Bergeron/Gunn/Hull/Meehlhause/Mueller. <br /> <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. <br /> <br />B. Resolution 8983, Authorizing INSPEC, Inc. to update the Roof Management <br />Program and perform Roof Repair Administration Services. <br /> <br />Public Works Director Peterson requested the Council authorize INSPEC to update the Roof <br />Management Program and perform roof repair administration services. He explained the City <br />owns and operates 16 buildings with a total of 100,000 square feet of roofing. He commented on <br />the roof management plan and suggested it be updated by INSPEC. <br /> <br />MOTION/SECOND: Meehlhause/Bergeron. To Waive the Reading and Adopt Resolution <br />8983, Authorizing INSPEC, Inc. to update the Roof Management Program and perform Roof <br />Repair Administration Services. <br /> <br />Council Member Meehlhause asked if the Resolution should be updated to properly describe the <br />funds that would be used to cover the expense. Public Works Director Peterson stated he would <br />update the Resolution. <br />
