The appeal will be sustained if it is approved by a majority of the members <br />present exclusive of the Chair. <br />Section 98. OPEN MEETING LAW: Meetings shall be conducted in <br />accordance with the State of Minnesota Open Meeting Law (MS 471.705). <br />Section 109. INFORMATIONAL PACKETS: Each MVCC Cable Committee <br />member shall receive a staff report, plans and additional information, as appropriate, for <br />each item placed on the agenda for any regular or special meeting. The committee <br />packet should be delivered at least four calendar days prior to the meeting. Each <br />member is responsible for reviewing the material within the packet prior to the meeting. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VI. <br />PARLIMENTARY AUTHORITY <br />Section 1. PARLIMENTARY AUTHORITY: Robert’s Rules of Order Newly <br />Revised (Tenth Edition) shall govern MVCC Cable Committee meetings in all cases to <br />which they are applicable and in which they are not inconsistent with these By-Laws <br />and/or any special rules of order MVCCthe Cable Committee may adopt. <br />Section 2. SUSPENSION: Robert’s Rules of Order may be temporally be temporarily <br />suspended by consent of the majority of the members. <br /> <br />ARTICLE VII <br />POLICIES AND GUIDELINES <br />The Mounds View Cable Committee shall establish policies and guidelines to follow in <br />producing its cable television programs. It shall address the following but not limited <br />to: Commercial Messages or Material; Political Campaigning; Candidates’ Forums <br />and/or Meetings; Religious Material; Special Programming; Obscenity and Defamation; <br />Schedule and Program Priorities; and Funding Sources. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
