The total bid
price is $85,000 which includes a base price of $75,000 plus
$10,000 for training costs to become familiarized with the
facility.
The highlights of the contract are as follows:
a) Fire calls - approximately 4-5 per year.
b) We have to respond with one engine within 20 minutes to
the main gate.
c) If the fire is well advanced or for any other reason such
as danger to our firefighters, we are authorized to let
the building burn and protect nearby structures.
d) While drilling or fire fighting at the facility, we must
pay the minimum wage in the fire contract of the former
Federal Cartridgc Firc Department.
Perhaps I should have asked you to formally recognize the contract
prior to the signing; this was an oversight on my part.
Accordingly, I am asking that you formalize our current contract
with the U.S. Army.
ve truly,
f--
Tr7) 1,2,1F,w)
Ron Fager rom
Chief of epartment
RF/js
Enclosure
[\BLAINE\TCAAPCTR)
1710 Highway 10 Spring Lake Park,MN 55432 Phone: 612-786-4436 Fax: 612-786-9617 Emergency: 911
