STAFF REPORT <br />PAGE TWO <br />NOVEMBER 1, 1993 <br />Of note is Section 109.02 Subdivision 3 which states that the City <br />Council may ". . impose any conditions or restrictions it deems <br />necessary or advisable in the public interest in the motion <br />granting any license hereunder, including but not being limited to, <br />conditions relating to the hours of operation, the lighting of the <br />business and the installation and maintenance of shrubbery, fencing <br />and grounds around the business". <br />Subdivision 4 of Section 109.02 goes on to add that "The Council <br />may also impose any such conditions or restrictions by motion at <br />any time after the issuance of a license hereunder". <br />RECOMMENDATION: This information is provided for discussion <br />purposes relating to the regulation of automobile dealerships. <br />Staff awaits City Council direction. <br />
