November 17. 1993 <br />Administrators Review/Recommendation: <br />- No comments to supplement this report <br />- Comments attached. <br />Explanation/Summary (attach agiplrment <br />SUNInIAIIY: <br />Jim Wheeler of Big Wheel Promotions has approached the City for <br />permission to hold a boxing event at the Bel -Rae Ballroom on November <br />17, 1993. <br />M. S. 341.08 requires that the municipality has to consent to the <br />holding of boxing or sparring exhibition in their City by a certified <br />copy of a resolution being presented to the Board of Boxing. <br />Mr. Wheeler has provided the City with a registration application as <br />well as proof of state license (copy of application and copy of check <br />for license) which is attached to this staff report. <br />Staff has prepared and attached Resolution No. 4439 Approving the Boxing <br />Event at the Bel -Rae Ballroom to be Conducted on November 17, 1993. <br />The City has not received a certificate of insurance from Mr. Wheeler, <br />however, Mr. Wheeler's agent phoned Tuesday and indicated that the <br />insurance would be forthcoming. <br />le Severson, <br />J u DLKi71i IDS 16I Y 17:V Y (1�`q <br />inistration Secretary <br />
