D. Executive Committee: <br />1. Comprised of chairman of governing board and four city <br />managers/administrators or their designees of four cities. <br />2. Meets bimonthly or as needed. <br />3. Powers include: <br />a. Approval of budgeted expenditures in excess of amounts <br />determined annually by the governing board. <br />b. Approval of contracts. <br />C. Approval of arrangements for administrative support services <br />provided by one or more of the four cities (e.g., financial, <br />personnel, and equipment maintenance). <br />d. Reviewing annual financial audits. <br />e. Reviewing and consulting with executive director regarding <br />matters of concern to the executive director or the members of <br />the executive committee. <br />f. Responsible for liaison with the four city councils. <br />E. Senior Management Board: <br />1. Meets at least monthly. <br />2. Comprised of chairperson of program committee. The chairperson is <br />elected by other members of the senior management board. <br />3. Establishes direction for ongoing senior center programming. <br />F. Committees: <br />1. Membership shall annually elect members of committees representing <br />the programs and services of the regional senior center. <br />2. Committees shall develop annual work programs in conjunction with <br />the executive director, and shall submit these work programs to the <br />senior management board for formal approval and inclusion in annual <br />senior center work program. <br />3. The chairperson shall be elected by membership of the committee for <br />a one-year term. <br />
