Specific objectives for 1993 are as follows: <br /> - comprehensive housing inventory and analysis including <br /> an implementation plan to develop a housing rehabilitation <br /> program including identification of funding sources. <br /> - continue review of highway and county road turnback proposals <br /> with special emphasis on existing Highway 10 turnback and redevelopment <br /> potential as a community oriented corridor. <br /> updating of the existing capital improvement programs in Streets, <br /> Surface Water Management, Municipal Water and Sanitary Sewer to provide a <br /> coordinated 5 Year Capital Improvements Program including long range goals. <br /> - improve record keeping and indexing of existing documents, <br /> plans, and system schematics in the building department, and in the water and <br /> sewer departments. <br /> - improve employee productivity through employee training and provision of <br /> efficient equipment and tools. <br /> - implementation of a financing system for city-wide surface water projects, <br /> operation and maintenance of existing facilities <br /> - continue the preventive maintenance program in the street <br /> department based on the pavement inventory system. <br /> - complete reconstruction of Long Lake Road from County Road H to County <br /> Road J <br /> - develop and implement infiltration and inflow control strategies in the sewer <br /> department. <br /> 25 <br />
