Mounds View City Council December 11, 2006 <br />Regular Meeting Page 24 <br /> <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the exercise equipment will be installed within the next 1 <br />few weeks. 2 <br /> 3 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that there is an outgoing elected officials meeting on Friday 4 <br />for recognition of outgoing officials. 5 <br /> 6 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that Xcel has a franchise service at Medtronic and needs to 7 <br />do a temporary gas purchase from Centerpointe Energy. 8 <br /> 9 <br />City Attorney Riggs said that it looks like Xcel will service the site but there is potentially a need 10 <br />for an arrangement with Centerpointe Energy and there is an agreement to be amended for the 11 <br />one property. He then said that it appears there is wiggle room in state statute and the City 12 <br />Charter and as long as the City gets the franchise fee it should get then it is workable. 13 <br /> 14 <br />Council agreed with the situation as outlined by the City Attorney. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Mayor Marty asked when the Random Park building will be open and ready to be used. 17 <br /> 18 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the Eagle Scout will be painting December 23 or 24th 19 <br />and then the carpeting will be installed. 20 <br /> 21 <br /> C.
