Reports of Mayor and Council 8 <br /> 9 <br />Mayor Marty indicated that Irondale had a Youth and Government Meeting tonight from 6:00 10 <br />p.m. to 8:00 p.m. that he was unable to attend. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Mayor Marty thanked Council Members Thomas and Gunn for their work and service to the City 13 <br />during their terms in office. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Mayor Marty ind icated that the Planning Commission and the Parks and Recreation Commission 16 <br />have openings and the deadline to apply is December 15, 2006 applications are available online 17 <br />and at City Hall. He then announced that there will not be a Council Meeting on Tuesday, 18 <br />December 26, 2006. 19 <br /> 20 <br />Council Member Thomas thanked residents and Staff for the privilege and challenge of working 21 <br />for and with the City. 22 <br /> 23 <br />Council Member Gunn thanked everyone for their assistance while she was on Council. 24 <br /> 25 <br />Council Member Stigney indicated that he has enjoyed working with Council Members Gunn 26 <br />and Thomas and said he will miss working with them. 27 <br /> 28 <br />Council Member Flaherty thanked Council Members Gunn and Thomas for their guidance and 29 <br />assistance as he began on Council. 30 <br /> 31 <br />Mayor Marty thanked Council Members Gunn and Thomas for their work for the City. 32 <br /> 33 <br />Council Member Thomas wished the incoming Council Members the best of luck. 34 <br /> 35 <br />Mayor Marty wished everyone a Happy Holiday season. 36 <br /> 37 <br /> B. Reports of Staff 38 <br /> 39 <br />City Administrator Ulrich thanked Council Members Gunn and Thomas on behalf of the Staff 40 <br />and said that he has enjoyed working with them. 41 <br /> 42 <br />City Administrator Ulrich indicated that the play structure is being installed at the Community 43 <br />Center this week and it should be ready for the holiday break. 44 <br /> 45
