RESOLUTION NO. 7046 <br /> <br />CITY OF MOUNDS VIEW <br />COUNTY OF RAMSEY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br /> <br />APPOINTMENT OF POLICE CIVIL SERVICE COMMISSIONERS <br /> <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Chapter 404 of the Mounds View City Municipal Code established <br />the Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 404.01 of the above mentioned Chapter sets the method for <br />the appointment of the Police Civil Service Commissioners; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Section 404.01 states that Police Commissioners shall be appointed <br />by the Mayor with the approval of a majority of the Council; and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, there is one (1) vacant seat on the Police Civil Service Commission; <br />and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the Mounds View Mayor and City Council has reviewed the current <br />application on file at the Mounds View City offices for this appointment, and has <br />recommended to the Council for its approval of Robin Marion for appointment to the <br />Mounds View Police Civil Service Commission. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that a majority of the Mounds View City <br />Council does hereby approve Robin Marion to Police Civil Service Commission for a <br />term not to exceed three years (Term expiration: December 31, 2009) <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Adopted this 12th day of March, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br /> __________________________ <br /> Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br /> <br />(seal)
