9-1-7 9-1-7 <br /> A) 1. Dwellings of not more than four (4) units. <br /> 2. Truck gardening and other horticultural uses, where no building is <br /> involved. <br /> 3. Churches. <br /> 4. Golf courses, except driving tees, ranges, miniature courses and similar <br /> uses operated for commercial purposes. <br /> 5. Conditional uses, subject to the provisions of Section 9-1-22. <br /> 6. Uses customarily incident to any of the above uses, including permitted <br /> home occupation, as are provided herein. <br /> 7. Accessory buildings, provided they shall be located as required in <br /> Section 9-1-18. <br /> 8. Temporary buildings and uses for some construction purposes for a <br /> period not to exceed one year. <br /> 9. One sign on each lot not exceeding twelve (12) square feet in area, <br /> pertaining to the lease or sale of the building or premises on which the <br /> sign is located. <br /> 10. Automobile parking space to be provided as required in Section 9-1-17. <br /> B. Building Height: No building or structure shall be hereafter erected, main- <br /> tained or enlarged to exceed two and one-half (21/2) stories, nor thirty-five <br /> feet (35') in height. <br /> C. Areas: No building or structure shall be erected, maintained or enlarged <br /> unless the following described yards and lot areas are provided and in <br /> connection with such building, structure or enlargement: <br /> 1. Front and Rear Yard: The minimum distance from the front or rear <br /> building line to the property line, at any point, shall not be less than fifteen <br /> feet (15'); except the distance from a detached garage or carport to the <br /> rear property line shall be at least five feet (5').1 <br /> 2. Side Yard: The minimum distance from the side building line to the <br /> property line, at any point, shall not be less than five feet (5') for detached <br /> dwellings on one side and not less than twelve feet (12') on the remaining <br /> side of any interior lot. On corner lots, the side yard requirements shall be <br /> the same as for interior lots, except that there shall be a side yard of not <br /> less than twelve feet (12') on the side adjacent to the street which inter- <br /> sects the street upon which building or structure maintains frontage. <br /> 1. See Section 9-1-18 of this Chapter. <br />
