Wholesale establishments, excluding a building the principal use of <br /> which Is for storage warehousing. <br /> 59. Automobile sales lot. <br /> 60. Building equipment, building materials, lumber, coal, sand, and gravel <br /> yards and yards for contracting equipment, maintenance or operating <br /> equipment of public agencies or public utilities, or materials or equipment <br /> of similar nature. <br /> 61. Multiple family dwelling units that meet or exceed the requirements for <br /> such dwellings located in Residence "C" Zone. <br /> 62. Auto wrecking or junk yards. <br /> 144,140/ B. Height: No building or structure shall be erected or structurally altered to <br /> exceed a height of three (3) stories, nor shall it exceed forty-five feet (45') <br /> in height. <br /> C. Areas: No front or side yards shall be required except that when a building <br /> or group of buildings abut upon a residential district, a yard shall be <br /> provided on the side of the lot abutting the residential district; such yard <br /> having a width of not less than ten feet (10'). There shall be a rear yard <br /> with a depth of not less than eight feet (8') when abutting a public <br /> thoroughfare and not less than sixteen feet (16') when no dedicated alley <br /> or public way exists at the rear of the lot. The rear yard may be used for <br /> off-street parking and loading as provided in Section 9-1-16 of this <br /> Chapter. <br /> D. Security Fences: A security fence with barbed wire above the height of six <br /> feet (6') may be placed in Commercial "D" Zone when such fences are <br /> necessary for the protection of the property and approved by the City <br /> Building Inspector. <br /> E. Screening of Auto Wrecking Yards: The operator of any auto wrecking yard <br /> shall provide a walt_or-fence of six--feet (61 in height-and--constructed-so <br /> as to adequately screen the materials stored on the property from the <br /> view of motorists and pedestrians travelling adjacent public rights of way. <br /> Notwithstanding the other provisions of this Chapter, the owner or operator <br /> 1. See Title 4, Chapter 2 of this City Code. <br />
