Mounds View City Council April 23, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 3 <br /> <br />David Jahnke 8428 Eastwood Road asked who will bear the cost of moving this sign. 1 <br /> 2 <br />Director Ericson indicated that the cost associated with relocating the sign will be born by 3 <br />Medtronic. 4 <br /> 5 <br />Mr. Jahnke asked what the lease revenues will be. 6 <br /> 7 <br />Director Ericson indicated that the revenue stream would be the same as the two remaining signs 8 <br />on the former golf course property and estimated that the revenues begin at $15,000, then 9 <br />$25,000, and then $30,000 up through the 30 year period. 10 <br /> 11 <br />Hearing no further public comments, Acting Mayor Stigney closed the public hearing. 12 <br /> 13 <br />Council Member Hull asked when the lease starts, in 2005, or when it is constructed. 14 <br /> 15 <br />Director Ericson indicated that the lease term will begin when the sign is erected. 16 <br /> 17 <br />City Attorney Riggs requested adding the expiration date to the Resolution. 18 <br /> 19 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. Public Hearing to Consider the Second Reading of Ordinance 788, 26 <br /> Approving Amendments to Chapters 1102 and 1113 of the Mounds View 27 <br /> Zoning Code to Define Neighborhood Motor Fuel Station and Allow a 28 <br /> Neighborhood Motor Fuel Station as a Conditional Use in a B-2 Zoning 29 <br /> District 30 <br /> 31 <br />Community Development Director Ericson said that the first reading was held and this second 32 <br />reading addresses the addition of language to the Zoning Code to identify a subset of gas stations 33 <br />that would be allowed in the B2 Zoning District. Staff asked that the public hearing be opened 34 <br />and that Council take no action until the next meeting as the owners of The Station are not 35 <br />present and would like to be here for this. 36 <br /> 37 <br />Acting Mayor Stigney opened the public hearing. 38 <br /> 39 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Stigney/Mueller.
