Mounds View City Council April 23, 2007 <br />Regular Meeting Page 4 <br /> <br />Chief Sommer explained that this Resolution is seeking approval to replace one of the outdoor 1 <br />warning sirens. This siren is located near Groveland Park and the new model will have a battery 2 <br />backup and a louder siren covering a larger area. 3 <br /> 4 <br />Council Member Flaherty asked where the siren without battery backup is located. 5 <br /> 6 <br />Chief Sommer indicated the last one is at City Hall and that is scheduled for replacement next 7 <br />year. 8 <br /> 9 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7070, 10 <br />Approving the Placement of an Outdoor Warning Siren. 11 <br /> 12 <br />Acting Mayor Stigney noted the cost and the low bidder. 13 <br /> 14 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 15 <br /> 16 <br /> D. Resolution 7071, Consideration of the Suspension of a Multiple Dwelling 17 <br /> License for 7750 Silver Lake Road 18 <br /> 19 <br />Housing Inspector Anderson appeared before Council and said that there is a water leak and a 20 <br />corrective notice was issued and, to date, there have been no formal mitigation plans received. 21 <br />However, a building permit application was received this afternoon for replacement of the roof at 22 <br />the premise. He then asked that Council consider tabling this Resolution at this time. 23 <br /> 24 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Hull. To Postpone Resolution 7071, Consideration of the 25 <br />Suspension of a Multiple Dwelling License for 7750 Silver Lake Road to the May 14, 2007 26 <br />Meeting. 27 <br /> 28 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 29 <br /> 30 <br /> E. Resolution 7075, Recognizing Woodlawn Terrace for Level C Certification in 31 <br /> the Mounds View Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program 32 <br /> 33 <br />Housing Inspector Anderson recognized Woodlawn Terrace for Level C Certification in the 34 <br />Mounds View Multiple Dwelling Licensing Program. 35 <br /> 36 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Flaherty/Mueller. To Waive the Reading and Approve Resolution 7075, 37 <br />Recognizing Woodlawn Terrace for Level C Certification in the Mounds View Multiple 38 <br />Dwelling Licensing program. 39 <br /> 40 <br />Flaherty thanked the management people for their efforts. 41 <br /> 42 <br /> Ayes – 4 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 43 <br /> 44
