He then said that one person goes down and picks up the product and the 8 <br />rest of the crew meets them at the job site. 9 <br /> 10 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. He then said that he 14 <br />was not aware of the waste of asphalt since it was cooling down and could not be used. 15 <br /> 16 <br />Council Member Stigney asked how the asphalt will be compacted. 17 <br /> 18 <br />Director Lee said that they have a roller. 19 <br /> 20 <br /> Ayes – 5 Nays – 0 Motion carried. 21 <br /> 22 <br /> N. Resolution 7054, Approving the Purchase of a Frost Breaker 23 <br /> 24 <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that there are between six and twelve watermain breaks and 25 <br />they usually occur during the winter months. This requires breaking through the frost to get to 26 <br />the watermain break. This piece of equipment would be attached to a piece of equipment to 27 <br />break through the frost and allow for repair of the watermain. 28 <br /> 29 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Flaherty. Resolution 7066, Approving the Purchase of a Replacement Trim Mower for 35 <br />the Parks Division 36 <br /> 37 <br />Public Works Director Lee explained that the City does have a trim mower that is approximately 38 <br />six years old but the City mechanic has looked at it and recommends replacement as the mower 39 <br />deck is warped and there are issues with the PTO driveshaft and other items to be replaced. Staff 40 <br />recommends replacement of the mower based on the recommendations of the mechanic. 41 <br /> 42 <br />MOTION/SECOND: Mueller/Marty.
