Mounds View City Council Page Eig <br /> Regular Meeting April 27, 1 <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Blanchard/Rickaby to adopt Resolution No. 4224 Urging <br /> Minnesota Congressional Support for Cable Legislation Providing <br /> Consumer Protection for Cable Television Subscribers <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 9. Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reviewed Staff Report No. <br /> 248C regarding the consideration of the Certificate of Completion <br /> and Release of Forfeiturp for Mounds View BuGinPss Park South and <br /> approve payment of $576, 000 to Everest Development in Land Buydown <br /> costs to be charged to Tax Increment Fund. The above requests are <br /> in compliance with the Contract for Private Redevelopment as all of <br /> the Business Park buildings have been substantially completed. <br /> MOTION/SECOND: Rickaby/Linke to authorize the Mayor and City <br /> Administrator to enter into a Certificate of Completion and <br /> Release of Forfeiture related the the Mounds View Business Park <br /> South and to further authorize payment of $576, 000 in land buydown <br /> costs to the Everest Group to be charged to the Mounds View Business <br /> Park South Tax Increment Fund <br /> Mayor Linke asked if Everest was paid up with regard to the <br /> 411 <br /> park dedication fees. <br /> Orduno stated that she did not have that answer at this time but <br /> would check on the status of the park dedication fee payment status. <br /> VOTE: 5 ayes 0 nays Motion Carried <br /> 10. Ric Minetor, Director of Public Works/City Engineer stated that he had <br /> not received final numbers from the contractor regarding the remodeling <br /> of the existing water treatment plant to police garage. Minetor asked <br /> that this item be brought before the Council at their May 4, 1992 Work <br /> Session <br /> REPORTS <br /> 1. Councilmember Blanchard had no report. <br /> Councilmember Rickaby had no report. <br /> Councilmember Quick had no report. <br /> Councilmember Wuori had no report. <br /> 2 . Mayour--Linke_ had no report. <br /> 3 . Samantha Orduno, City Administrator, reported that Mayor <br /> Linke had been nominated to serve on the Board of the Association of <br /> Metropolitan Municipalities and gave her congratulations to Mayor • <br /> Linke. Orduno stated that serving on this Board is quite an honor. <br />
