<br /> <br />Resolution 7079 <br />Page 2 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />WHEREAS, due to the numerous past problems and issues with service and <br />reliability with the Pitney Bowes, Staff is recommending purchasing the postage <br />machine from Minnesota Mailing Solutions (Hasler); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the 2007 budget needs to be revised to reflect the purchase of this <br />machine; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, $1,572 can be transferred from Budget Number 100-4160-4010 to <br />100-4160-7030 for the purchase of this machine; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an additional $2,179 increase needs to be added to Budget Number <br />100-4160-7030. <br /> <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Mounds View, that the purchase of a WJ150 from Minnesota Mailing Solutions (Hasler) <br />is approved with the following specifications below: <br /> <br />Minnesota Mailing Solutions (Hasler) <br /> <br />WJ150 Machine Purchase: $3,751/plus tax <br />Meter Rental: Free for First Year/$45 a month after <br />Maintenance Agreement: Free for First Year/$550 a year in 2008, then <br />add 3-4% depending on inflation in the <br />following years; and <br /> <br /> NOW, FURTHER BE IT RESOLVED by the Mounds View City Council adopts <br />the amendments to the 2007 Budget for a $1,572 transfer from Budget Number 100- <br />4160-4010 to 100-4160-7030 and an increase of $2,179 towards Budget Number 100- <br />4160-7030 for the purchase of WJ150 Hasler Postage Machine. <br /> <br />Adopted this 25th day of June, 2007. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />__________________________________ <br />Rob Marty, Mayor <br /> <br />ATTEST: <br />__________________________________ <br />Kurt Ulrich, City Administrator <br />(seal)
